How to add keywords to photos on iPhone with iOS 27

Finding a particular picture in a large photo library can be difficult, but iOS 27 gives iPhone users another way to organize their images by adding keywords.
Keywords can describe anything useful about a photo or video, giving you extra information that can help when organizing and searching your library. They are separate from the existing caption field.
You can add more than one keyword to an item, making the feature useful for categorizing photos by subjects, events, projects, locations or any system that makes sense to you.
How to add keywords to a photo in iOS 27
- Open the Photos app on your iPhone.
- Open the photo or video you want to organize.
- Swipe up on the image or open its information panel.
- Find Add Keywords.
- Tap the option and enter the keyword you want to associate with the item.
- Add any additional keywords you want to use.
