Dan’s Pet Care uses Apple devices to manage 80-strong team across New York

Apple has highlighted how Long Island-based Dan’s Pet Care uses iMac, iPhone and iPad to coordinate its growing pet care business, which now employs around 80 people across multiple neighbourhoods.
Founded in 2009 as a one-person dog walking service, Dan’s Pet Care has expanded into a wider operation offering walking, boarding, daycare, grooming and specialist services.
According to Apple, iMac is used at the company’s main facility to manage daycare and boarding through the Gingr platform, allowing staff to keep track of individual care requirements in real time.
iPad is used by pet handlers and managers working away from desks, while scheduling and customer communication are handled through apps including Time to Pet. The company also uses Jibble on iPad for employee time tracking.
Founder Dan Reitman says Apple products have been part of the business since its early days, with iPad first helping him present a more professional setup in customer meetings before becoming part of wider daily operations.
As the company has grown, Apple devices have become a common platform for communication, management and customer service across its different locations.
