Chinese coffee brand Saturnbird uses Mac to support more than 10 million customers

Shanghai coffee company Saturnbird says Mac has become a key part of its growth as the brand has expanded from a single coffee shop to serving more than 10 million customers online.
The company has grown to around 230 employees and combines coffee production with a strong focus on product design and branding. Apple has now featured Saturnbird in its small-business success story series.
According to Apple, every Saturnbird employee is offered a Mac, with the company using the devices across product development, design, collaboration and day-to-day office work.
Designers use Mac with professional software including Cinema 4D and Rhino for demanding tasks such as 3D rendering, while teams also use apps including Freeform, Keynote and Pages. Employees can continue work across iPhone and iPad when needed.
Saturnbird says giving staff high-quality hardware has helped improve creativity and productivity as the business has scaled. The company’s design team uses Mac throughout the process of creating graphics and packaging, while product managers rely on portable Macs when travelling or moving around the office.
Apple says Saturnbird sees the consistency of its device setup as part of attracting and retaining talented employees while continuing to expand internationally.
