London veterinary practice Hello Vet puts Mac at the centre of pet care

Apple has highlighted London veterinary practice Hello Vet, showing how the growing business uses Mac across its clinics to simplify administration and give staff more time with pets and their owners.

Hello Vet was founded in 2023 with a focus on making veterinary care less stressful and more transparent. The business now operates three locations with more than 40 employees and says technology plays a central role in keeping its teams connected.

According to Apple, reception staff use iMac to register patients through a cloud-based management system, while consulting rooms are equipped with Mac mini. The operating room also includes several iMac workstations for shared use.

Veterinary surgeons and nurses are issued MacBook Air models, allowing them to move between appointments and different areas of the practice without being tied to a fixed workstation.

Hello Vet says its aim is to combine a modern clinical environment with technology that helps staff work efficiently while keeping attention on the customer experience. The company is also described by Apple as the UK’s first veterinary practice designed to allow clients to remain with their pets during procedures including anaesthetic and recovery.

As the business expands, Apple devices are being used as a common platform across reception, consultation and clinical workflows.
