Tim Cook visits children at London school to watch iPads being used to teach programming language Swift

After arriving in London to meet with British Prime Minister Theresa May and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan to discuss Brexit and Apple’s investment in Britain; Tim Cook has met with children at Woodberry Down Community Primary School in north London to watch iPads being used in the class room to teach programming language Swift.
Students at the school have been learning basic coding through Apple’s Swift Playgrounds software and often work with the company’s GarageBand music app as part of their lessons according to The Daily Mail, something Tim Cook was clearly pleased to see as he walked around the classroom assisting the children with their coding.
Earlier in the day, British Prime Minister Theresa May and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan took the opportunity to ‘reiterate and welcome Apple’s investment in the UK’ according to a government representative. Tim has been taking a tour of Europe this week, first meeting with Paris-based fashion designer, Julien Fournié and VizEat co-founders Camilla Rumani and Jean-Michel Petit, then later visiting Germany to meet with Dula, the manufacture of the fixtures and fittings used in Apple’s retail locations.
