Apple on Friday introduced several new App Store marketing tools, including a new custom marketing asset maker for developers to use when promoting their app.
On the new marketing tools webpage (see here), Apple touts how developers can now “Promote it like a pro” with customisable advertising templates that create banners to promote apps, mainly on social media.
In a post to the Developer webpage, Apple says the new tools make promoting apps on social media “easier than ever,” noting all the creative features available for free to be used to promote apps online.
You can now easily create custom marketing assets — such as banners and images — to promote your apps on social media and more. Simply select your app, choose a template, customize your design, and add preset messages in multiple languages. Your assets will be available instantly in all the right sizes, making sharing easier than ever. You can also continue to use these App Store marketing tools to create short links or embeddable code that lead to your App Store product page and display your app icon, a QR code, or an App Store badge.
Today’s launch follows after Apple initially introduced its App Store marketing tools webpage late last year, offering the ability to create basic marketing material for apps, such as QR codes, App Store badges, links, and more online.
