Apple increases prices across Mac, iPad, Apple TV, HomePod, and Vision Pro lineup

Apple has increased prices across much of its hardware lineup, with Macs, iPads, Apple TV, HomePod, and Vision Pro all becoming more expensive.
The changes affect nearly every Mac currently sold by Apple. The new MacBook Neo now starts at $699, up from $599, while the 13-inch MacBook Air now starts at $1,299 instead of $1,099. The 15-inch MacBook Air has also increased to $1,499, up from $1,299.
The M5 MacBook Pro now starts at $1,999, with the M5 Pro model increasing to $2,499 and the M5 Max configuration now starting at $4,099. Apple’s iMac now starts at $1,499, while the Mac Studio has seen some of the largest increases, with the M4 Max model rising to $2,499 and the M3 Ultra configuration now starting at $5,299.
Apple has also increased prices across its iPad lineup. The standard iPad now starts at $449, while the iPad Air begins at $749 for the 11-inch model and $949 for the 13-inch version. The 11-inch iPad Pro now starts at $1,199, with the 13-inch model increasing to $1,499. The iPad mini has also risen to $599.
Outside of Macs and iPads, Apple has increased the price of Apple TV 4K to $199, HomePod to $349, HomePod mini to $129, and Vision Pro to $3,699.
The price increases follow Apple CEO Tim Cook recently warning that rising component costs meant the company could no longer absorb all of the additional expense, saying that “price increases are unavoidable.”
