How to mute or turn off notifications on Apple Watch

If your Apple Watch is constantly buzzing, you can quickly mute or turn off notifications for specific apps in just a few taps.
To manage notifications directly from your Apple Watch, start by opening Notification Centre. Touch and hold the top of the watch face, then swipe down to reveal your recent alerts.
Find the notification from the app you want to manage, then swipe left on it. Tap the three-dot “More” button to see your options.
From here, you can choose to mute notifications for an hour, mute them for the rest of the day, or turn them off completely, depending on the app.
This is the fastest way to silence an app without digging through settings, especially if something is sending too many alerts.
If you later change your mind and want notifications back, you’ll need to re-enable them using your iPhone. Open the Apple Watch app, tap the “My Watch” tab, then go to Notifications. Scroll down to the list of apps and turn notifications back on for the one you want.
This gives you full control over what alerts appear on your Apple Watch, helping keep distractions to a minimum.
