Rumors suggest Apple Watch Series 6 coming in new color, possibly blue
Reputable cryptic leaker “L0vetodream” has suggested Apple’s upcoming Apple Watch Series 6 will be available in a new color, rumoring that the wearable will have fast-charging functionality, and more.
Apple is expected to announce the next-generation Apple Watch Series 6 next week alongside a redesigned iPad Air at its virtual “Time Flies” event on Tuesday, September 15, with a second event now expected in October for Apple to announce the iPhone 12, as well as new over-ear AirPods Studio headphones, and more.
In a string of new tweets, the leaker claims the upcoming Apple Watch will be released in a new, unspecified finish, likely blue given the rumors that the iPhone 12 Pro will be released in Midnight Blue, replacing Midnight Green that first debuted last year with the iPhone 11 Pro.

The promotional graphic Apple released to promote the event, an opportunity Apple has used in the past to hint at what will be announced during previous events, is designed using a combination of light and dark blue shades, adding fuel to rumors that suggest a new color option will be unveiled next week.

“L0vetodream” goes on to say “quick charge for Apple ( ),” a hint that the upcoming wearable will gain fast-charging functionality, as well as saying “online Sep 15”, which could mean Apple will release the new hardware just after its event, although it wasn’t specified what exactly would be online – whether it be the new Apple Watch or iPad Air 4.
