iPhone 12 Pro concepts envision new ‘Midnight Blue’ finish and updated rear camera system

Exclusive: Combining the latest rumors, leaks and reports from within Apple’s supply chain, The Apple Post has created renders that envision this year’s flagship iPhone models, offering what we believed to be the most accurate representation of the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max ahead of their official release this year.
Apple is expected to give the iPhone its first redesign since the launch of the iPhone X in 2017, taking inspiration from the iPhone 4 by introducing a squared-edged design that will feature a polished stainless steel band between the device’s front and back glass body.
Alongside the new design, Apple is believed to be introducing an all-new “Midnight Blue” finish that will sit alongside Space Gray, Silver and Gold.
Another noticeable difference expected to launch with the iPhone 12 Pro is the addition of a new LiDAR sensor, similar to that introduced with the iPad Pro last updated in March 2020.
Due to the added sensor, Apple will likely reposition the LED flash to the center of the rear camera module, with the small microphone lowered to sit at the bottom of the square camera housing, which for all devices is expected to be black, unlike on the current-generation iPhone 11 Pro where the camera bump matches the color of the device.
