iPad Air in short supply as May 7 ‘Let Loose’ Apple event nears
In-stock iPad Air availability has started to diminish ahead of Apple’s upcoming “Let Loose” special event on May 7, where the iPhone maker is anticipated to unveil new iPad Pro and iPad Air models, as well as a new Apple Pencil, and Magic Keyboard.
According to reports from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, sources within Apple Store retail have observed a decline in inventory for the iPad Air, suggesting an impending release of new versions. However, the availability of the iPad Pro appears unchanged, indicating that current-generation models will likely remain accessible even after the anticipated launch of the new devices next month.
Rumors suggest that the 2024 iPad Air will be available in two sizes: 10.9-inches and 12.9-inches. The device is expected to feature a redesigned rear camera layout, with both the camera and flash housed in a protruding rectangular module, similar to that seen on the iPhone X.
