Siri AI is still unavailable in the EU on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch

Apple has expanded Siri AI to more languages with its 27.2 software updates, but the company’s new assistant remains unavailable in the European Union on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.
Apple says Siri AI is currently unavailable in the EU in iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS, even as support expands to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish elsewhere.
The restriction means users in EU countries still cannot access the new Siri AI experience on those devices, despite the wider language rollout. Apple says it is working constructively with the EU in an attempt to find a path forward.
Siri AI is built on Apple Intelligence and can use personal context, onscreen awareness, systemwide app actions, and broader world knowledge to provide more capable and conversational responses.
The new assistant is now available in beta in iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, macOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2, provided the device supports Apple Intelligence and is set to a supported language.
The wider rollout adds French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. The Apple Post has more on Siri AI’s new language support here.
Apple has not given a date for Siri AI availability on iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch in the EU. The company says it continues to work with European regulators.
Apple detailed the regional restriction in a new update on Siri AI availability.
