Apple has released watchOS 27.2 for compatible Apple Watch models, bringing a significant expansion of Siri AI alongside bug fixes and security improvements.
Siri can now retain useful context from earlier conversations, allowing users to refer back to information the assistant previously provided. Apple has also expanded the personal context Siri can draw from and says responses should be faster on Apple Watch.
The update adds Siri AI support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish, extending the feature beyond its initial English-language availability.
watchOS 27.2 also includes the return of the App Switcher, which The Apple Post first covered during beta testing. The feature lets users move between recently opened apps after Apple removed the previous implementation with watchOS 27.
Apple Watch users can install watchOS 27.2 through the Watch app on a paired iPhone by selecting General and then Software Update.
