Siri AI expands to French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish with iOS 27.2

Apple is expanding Siri AI to significantly more users around the world with the release of iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, macOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2.
The new version of Siri is now available in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish, joining English as supported Siri AI languages. The expansion marks the first major international rollout for Apple’s more capable and personalized Siri experience.
Siri AI uses Apple Intelligence to understand personal context across messages, emails, photos, and other information on a user’s device. It can also understand what is currently shown onscreen, take more actions inside apps, and draw on broader world knowledge to answer up-to-date questions.
Apple says Siri AI can help with tasks such as drafting an email from scratch or editing and sharing groups of photos, while personal context allows users to ask for information without necessarily remembering where it was originally stored.
The rollout is part of today’s broader software releases, including iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, and macOS Golden Gate 27.2.
Apple says additional Siri AI language support will arrive by the end of the year, with Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish, and Vietnamese next on the roadmap.
Siri AI remains in beta and requires an Apple Intelligence-compatible device set to a supported language. Some features may not be available in every region or language.
Apple outlined the expanded availability in a new Siri AI update.
