These iPhone 18 Pro models can still arrive on launch day

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max pre-orders are underway, and while delivery estimates for some configurations have already slipped beyond launch day, there are still options available for customers hoping to receive a new iPhone on Friday, September 18.
Shipping estimates checked by 9to5Mac show availability varies considerably depending on the model, color and storage capacity selected, with the iPhone 18 Pro generally easier to find for launch-day delivery than the larger iPhone 18 Pro Max.
For the iPhone 18 Pro, launch-day delivery remains available for several higher-capacity configurations. Black and Silver models with 1TB of storage were showing September 18 delivery, while 2TB versions across Burgundy, Glacier, Black and Silver were also still listed for launch day at the time the estimates were checked.
The lower-capacity iPhone 18 Pro configurations are more constrained. Many 256GB models have moved to an October 6 to October 13 delivery window, while several 512GB and 1TB configurations are showing delivery later in September.
Availability is tighter for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Some configurations have already slipped beyond September 18, particularly among the lower storage capacities, making storage choice increasingly important for anyone who still wants delivery on launch day.
One option remains notably consistent across the Pro lineup: the 2TB configuration. At the time of checking, every iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max color with 2TB of storage remained available for September 18 delivery, although choosing Apple’s highest storage tier comes at a considerable additional cost.
Delivery estimates can change quickly as Apple processes orders and inventory is allocated, so customers considering a particular configuration should check the Apple Store directly before ordering. In-store pickup availability can also differ from home delivery estimates and will depend on individual Apple Store inventory.
Apple opened iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max pre-orders at 5 a.m. PT (1 p.m. in the U.K.) on Saturday. The company says both models will officially be available online and in stores beginning Friday, September 18.
Customers who have already missed their preferred launch-day configuration still have several options. The Apple Post has outlined what to try next, including checking alternative configurations and watching for changing store pickup availability.
