Apple now sells iPhone 18 Pro, Mac Studio and Mac mini repair parts

Apple has expanded its Self Service Repair program to include the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, alongside the latest Mac Studio and Mac mini models, giving customers access to genuine replacement parts, official repair manuals and professional-grade tools.
The update means technically experienced customers can now buy parts for Apple’s newest flagship iPhones and recent desktop Macs without going through an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider.
As first reported by 9to5Mac, Apple has added repair parts for the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, M5 Max and M5 Ultra Mac Studio, and the M6 and M5 Pro Mac mini to its Self Service Repair Store.
For iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple is offering replacement parts for the back glass, battery, bottom speaker, rear camera system, display, enclosure, front camera, logic board, main microphone, SIM tray, Taptic Engine and top speaker, among other components.
The new iPhone 18 Pro camera module is priced at $249 in the United States. Apple also offers a $59.76 credit when the original camera is returned, reducing the effective cost to $189.24. That price is unchanged from last year despite the iPhone 18 Pro introducing a new variable-aperture camera system.
The latest Mac Studio models are also now covered, with Apple offering components including Thunderbolt and USB-C ports, fans, speakers, SSD modules, logic boards and power supplies for M5 Max and M5 Ultra configurations.
For the M6 and M5 Pro Mac mini, the Self Service Repair Store offers a more limited selection that includes fans, speakers, logic boards, batteries and power supplies.
Apple says Self Service Repair is intended for people with the knowledge and experience needed to repair electronic devices. Customers are instructed to begin with the official repair manual before ordering the genuine parts and tools required for the repair.
Apple’s expansion continues a program that has grown significantly since its 2022 launch. The Apple Post previously reported that Apple added parts and tools for all M4 Macs to Self Service Repair, while iPhone 16 repair parts were added in late 2024.
Apple has also steadily expanded the program geographically and technologically. Apple Diagnostics for Self Service Repair is available across Europe, allowing users to test device components and identify which parts may need to be replaced.
The addition of iPhone 18 Pro support also arrives as Apple continues to talk up repairability across its hardware lineup. A recent rumor claimed Apple could go even further with a more repair-friendly iPhone design in 2027, although that report remains unconfirmed.
