Apple’s ever-growing Services category, which includes the App Store, Apple Pay, and subscription services like Apple TV+ and Apple Music, set an all-time revenue record in the March quarter, reporting Services revenue of $23.9 billion, up 14% from a year earlier.
Speaking during a live call with investors on Thursday, Apple’s Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri said that Transacting and paid accounts reached a new all-time high, with paid accounts growing double digits year over year, with more than 1 billion paid subscriptions now active across Apple’s install base, more than double the number four years ago.
The insight comes as Apple announced its financial results for its fiscal 2024 second quarter ended March 30, 2024, posting quarterly revenue of $90.8 billion, down 4 percent year over year.
