Face ID promoted in new ‘Nice Try!’ iPhone 15 ad
Apple has promoted the privacy and security offered by Face ID in a new ad titled ‘Nice Try!’. The ad demonstrates how messages are kept hidden on the Lock Screen to prevent prying eyes from reading notifications without permission.
The ad shows an iPhone on a table whilst the owner is in the other room. As the owner is away, a message is received, and a curious family member is seen picking up the device and unsuccessfully trying to read the message without the owner knowing.
With Face ID enabled on the device, the nosey family member is unable to access the messages. The owner of the device is then seen entering the room, picking up the iPhone and reading the message privately.
