Elon Musk meets with Tim Cook at Apple Park
After asking whether Apple hates “free speech” following claims that Apple has “mostly stopped” its ads spend on Twitter, Elon Musk has met with Apple CEO Tim Cook amid claims that the iPhone maker has threatened to pull Twitter from the App Store.
Musk shared a video on Wednesday from Apple Park, thanking Cook for showing him around the Cupertino campus, days after claiming that Apple had threatened to “withhold Twitter from its App Store.”
Since taking over Twitter, the social network has gone through fairly turbulent times, including mass staff layoffs, a push to move users to the service’s pay-monthly subscription service, and the ability for any user to show a blue verification badge on their profile, without any authentication checks prior.

Musk didn’t share any details about his meeting with Cook or the situation regarding Twitter on the App Store however, a likely key talking point during the meet would be the unbanning of high-profile accounts that had previously violated Twitter’s terms, which in term could violate App Store policies for content moderation.
