Apple shares new Apple Watch Series 7 ‘911’ ad

Apple has shared a new ad promoting the Apple Watch Series 7, touting the wearable’s ability to make calls to emergency services by playing back three 911 calls made from the device.
The 1-minute ad features three real-life emergency calls made from an Apple Watch, including a driver involved in a car crash, somebody pushed out to sea in strong winds while paddle-boarding, and a farmer who broke their leg after a 21-foot fall.
The ad switches between each emergency, playing snippets of the conversation between the patient and 911 operator.
Apple Watch wearers can make an emergency call using the SOS feature on their watch by pressing and holding their watch’s side button (the button below the Digital Crown) until the Emergency SOS slider appears. Users can either drag the Emergency SOS slider to start the call immediately or alternatively keep holding the side button until the emergency services are called automatically.
