Apple Polishing Cloth shipping estimates now extend into early February
Demand for Apple’s $19 nonabrasive cleaning cloth isn’t showing any sign of slowing down, with shipping estimates for the Apple-branded piece of cloth now extending into early February in some countries.
Quietly launched alongside the redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro earlier this month, Apple’s new Polishing Cloth has quickly become a must-have item, with shipping estimates continuing to stretch further into the distance.
Last week, shipping estimates reached late December/early January, and as of the end of October, the online Apple Store is showing customers in the UK that new orders for the nonabrasive cleaning cloth are now expected to ship between late January/early February, marking a lead time of almost 13 weeks for the $19 accessory.
Made with soft, nonabrasive material, the Polishing Cloth is suitable for cleaning all types of Apple displays, from iPhone and iPad to Apple Watch and Mac, including the nano-texture glass Pro Display XDR.
