Apple sending personalized ‘California streaming’ special event reminders on Twitter
Ahead of Apple’s highly anticipated “California streaming” special event next week, which is expected to see the launch of the iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7, and more, the official @Apple Twitter handle is offering to send personalized event reminders to those interested in watching the event live on Apple.com.
As seen ahead of previous events, Apple is promoting a tweet that invites users to tap the Favorite button on Twitter to receive a reminder from @Apple ahead of the main event next Tuesday.
Tapping the Favorite button on Twitter sees users receive an immediate thank you message from Apple, with the main reminder usually being shared 5-10 minutes before the event itself, kicking off on September 14 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT).
Wanna know what’s next? Tune in on 14 September at 6 pm for a special #AppleEvent.

Alongside the reminders, in typical pre-event fashion, Apple has launched a special Twitter hashtag for next week’s product launch, adding the event’s artwork to the end of tweets that use the #AppleEvent hashtag.
@theapplepost You’re good to go. We’ll send you a reminder before the #AppleEvent starts on 14 September at 6 pm. Hang tight — it’s just a week away.
Reply #end to opt out.
