Apple Music ‘Lossless’ logo discovered amid rumors of new Hi-Fi tier
With rumors pointing to Apple announcing a new Apple Music Hi-Fi audio streaming tier on Tuesday, designer Stijn de Vries has found a new Lossless logo on Apple.com, further suggesting we will see the iPhone maker introduce higher-quality audio on its streaming service.
On Sunday, Apple teased the arrival of its upgraded audio quality, adding a box to the Apple Music app that teased “music is about to change forever” with a new Tune-In video.
This month, Hits Daily Double record label sources claimed Apple was reportedly preparing to launch its rumored third-generation AirPods and a new “Apple Music HiFi” tier in the “coming weeks,” claiming the new high-fidelity audio streaming tier will be priced at $9.99 per month – the same as the standard Apple Music subscription – offering higher-quality, lossless audio playback.
