Apple prototyping blue-colored MacBook, Jon Prosser reports
Apple is prototyping new colors for its next MacBook, according to leaker Jon Prosser, who cites the same source who accurately provided him information on the new colorful M1 iMac, in the latest episode of his YouTuber series Front Page Tech.
Prosser’s source is said to be “very cryptic,” claiming Apple will bring “colors for average consumers,” with its next MacBook update, suggesting the colorful cases will be coming to the MacBook Air, which Prosser assumes will run on the next-generation Apple M2 chip.
Apple’s new colorful iMacs were unveiled last month at the “Spring Forward” special event, releasing in Blue, Green, Pink, Silver, Yellow, Orange, and Purple towards the end of May. The new colors came after Apple introduced a new iPad Air late last year, available in Silver, Space Gray, Rose Gold, Green, and Sky Blue.
“Recently saw a blue MacBook prototype that looked absolutely amazing. That’s all I can say for now,” said Prosser’s source.
