Apple on track to launch iPhone 13 in late September, says Wedbush analysts
Apple is on track to launch the iPhone 13 in late September, according to Wedbush analysis Daniel Ives, who reports that supply chain checks suggest that the next iPhone could launch during the third week of September.
First covered by 9to5Mac, Wedbush is forecasting that Apple is looking to produce around 25 percent more iPhone 13 models than it did with the iPhone 12, thanks to continued consumer and carrier interest in 5G phones, paired with continued strong demand for the iPhone as a whole.
While the planned release is on schedule for late September, Ives notes that ‘product model tweaks’ may force Apple to push the launch back slightly to early October.
Early rumors are pointing to the iPhone 13 featuring a 120Hz “ProMotion” display, larger batteries, a smaller notch, and more.
