Apple may finally launch its long-rumored AirPods Studio over-ear headphones today, according to “exclusive” information from “multiple sources familiar with the matter,” cited by AppleTrack.
It was reported last week that Apple was getting ready to make some form of hardware announcement today on Tuesday, December 8, after reliable leaker @L0vetodream suggested last month that Apple has a “Christmas surprise” in store for this year, saying it will be “good for winter” and a “winter exclusive.”
Apple was widely rumored to launch its new over-ear headphones before the end of the year, although some reports have suggested the Beats-style products have been delayed, and won’t arrive until 2021 at the earliest.
Leaker Fudge (@choco_bit) shared hands-on images with the alleged AirPods Studio headphones in September. Apple is expected to release two versions of its new AirPods Studio headphones: a high-end model with “leather-like fabrics” and a “fitness-focused” model designed to be worn comfortably during workouts.
Apple’s recently released iOS 14.3 developer beta may have given a potential look at the company’s rumored new “AirPods Studio” headphones, with an icon appearing which matches closely to the previously leaked real-life image.
Today’s rumored announcement is set to happen at approximately 5:30 a.m.
