Apple’s new MagSafe Duo Charger expected to launch soon
Apple’s new MagSafe Duo Charger for iPhone and Apple Watch is expected to launch soon, with the accessory today passing Korea’s National Radio Research Agency (NRRA) compliance test, which suggests Apple is in the final stages of preparing the charger for release.
The MagSafe Duo Charger was announced last month alongside the iPhone 12, which is promised to allow users to simultaneously charge an iPhone alongside an Apple Watch (not AirPods) on the small foldable mat.
A release date and price for the MagSafe Duo Charger is yet to be confirmed, with Apple simply stating the accessory would be arriving at a “later date.”
Pre-orders for the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max are set to begin on Friday, just before Apple hosts its third fall 2020 event the following week on Tuesday, November 10. It is unclear if we’ll hear more about the accessory this month, or if it will make an appearance in December before the year’s end.
