Apple partnering with Billie Eilish for new Apple Music Lab classes
Apple has announced new in-store Apple Music Lab classes created in partnership with Billie Eilish, teaching attendees how to create mixes of Eilish’s song “you should see me in a crown.” from her latest album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” using GarageBand on iPhone.
The classes will be lead by Apple Store specialists – similar to other Today at Apple sessions – and focus on the ins and outs of GarageBand for iOS, with the aim of giving attendees the skills required to deconstruct the track and add their own twist on the song.
Within a webpage promoting the classes, Apple says:
Exclusively in Apple Stores, get hands-on with tracks direct from your favorite Apple Music artists. In this session, you’ll deconstruct Billie Eilish’s song “you should see me in a crown,” find out what inspired her, and create your own version of the song using GarageBand on iPhone. Devices will be provided.
Eilish was the voice behind Apple’s ‘Share Your Gifts’ annual holiday ad last year, singing “come out and play”.
