M6 MacBook Pro is up to 30% faster for graphics and 25% faster for AI than M5

Apple’s new 14-inch MacBook Pro with M6 delivers up to 30 percent faster graphics performance and up to 25 percent faster on-device AI workloads than the previous M5 model.
The M6 chip combines a 12-core CPU with a 12-core GPU and Neural Accelerators in every GPU core, along with a Dual 16-core Neural Engine.
Apple says the Neural Engine itself can deliver up to 1.9x faster performance than M5, while the GPU and Neural Engine work together to accelerate tasks including image generation, Super Resolution and AI upscaling.
For developers, Apple claims project build performance in Xcode can be up to 1.3x faster than on the M5 MacBook Pro, while ray-traced rendering in Blender can also be up to 1.3x faster.
The new MacBook Pro also increases memory bandwidth to up to 170GB/s. Apple announced the M6 14-inch MacBook Pro today, with preorders opening October 28.
