Apple releasing iOS 26 on Monday, September 15

Apple has confirmed that iOS 26 will be released next week on Monday, September 15.
The update brings a full redesign, featuring a new “Liquid Glass” aesthetic. It includes translucent layers, dynamic layouts and spatial wallpapers that create 3D-like effects.
The iPhone Lock Screen has been enhanced with intelligent clock placement that automatically adjusts to avoid overlapping key elements in the wallpaper.
Core apps such as Camera, Photos, Music, News and Podcasts have been refreshed with new interfaces. They now include a floating tab bar for more immersive navigation.
Apple Intelligence expands with Live Translation in Messages and FaceTime, plus Visual Intelligence for interacting with on-screen content.

Phone and Messages receive new features including call screening, iMessage polls and group Apple Cash payments.
Apple Music introduces AutoMix for seamless song transitions. Maps gains visited place tracking. Wallet adds redesigned boarding passes that integrate with Live Activities.
iOS 26 will be available on the iPhone SE (2nd generation and later), the iPhone 11 through iPhone 16, and the new iPhone 17 lineup.
