Reputable leaker says Apple Watch Series 9 to come in new pink color option

A reputable leaker who goes by the name ShrimpApplePro on Twitter has said the Apple Watch Series 9, which is rumored to launch in September, could come in a new “pink” color option, in addition to the existing midnight, starlight, silver, and (PRODUCT)RED finishes.
The leaker says the device will retain the same overall design as the current-generation models, adding that the stainless steel color options will remain the same, including gold, graphite, and silver.
Despite not sharing any information about the capabilities of the new wearables, the leaker says the Apple Watch Series 9 will reportedly use smaller packaging, presumably as part of Apple’s environmental efforts.
Over the weekend Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman said he expects the new Apple Watch Series 9 to feature a powerful new S9 processor, up from the S6 chip that first launched in 2020.
