iPhone 15 rumored to support 15W wireless fast charging using third-party chargers that are not MagSafe certified

Apple is rumored to support 15W wireless fast charging on all third-party chargers with the iPhone 15, including those that are not MagSafe certified, according to a leaker in a blog post.
Until now, Qi chargers that are not part of the MFM (Made for MagSafe) certification program have their charging speeds lowered to 7.5W, compared to the faster 15W speed of Apple’s own MagSafe wireless chargers, and officially licensed Made for MagSafe third-party accessories.
The rumor appears to originate from a supply chain source, although no further details were shared in the post.
Apple is expected to shakeup the charging port with the iPhone 15 series, with all four new models likely to ditch the Lightning port in favor of USB-C. It has been rumored that with the change, Apple will likely limit fast USB-C transfer speeds to the high-end iPhone 15 Pro models and not the regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus.
