iOS 17 rumored to bring Apple Music app updates including new Lock Screen lyrics view

iOS 17 is rumored to include Apple Music app user interface improvements and a new Lock Screen lyrics view, according to a post on Weibo from a source who has previously provided accurate information.

The user interface improvements are rumored to see Apple drop some text elements of the Apple Music UI and add new images and graphics to the app.

Building on the existing Lock Screen customization options in iOS 16, Apple is rumored to add a new lyrics view with iOS 17, which would show live song lyrics displayed on the iPhone’s Lock Screen.

Codenamed “Dawn,” iOS 17 isn’t expected to include as many major improvements as iOS 16 did, which introduced the ability to customize the Lock Screen to allow users to change the look of the date and time with type styles and colour choices, add widgets, relocated notifications, and more however, the update is rumored to boast several “nice to have” features, including several of users’ “most requested features.”
