Apple creates #AppleEvent ‘hashflag’ for upcoming ‘Peek performance’ special event
Ahead of next week’s “Peek performance” special event, where Apple is expected to announce its rumored 5G iPhone SE, updated iPad Air with Center Stage camera and new entry-level M2 MacBook Pro, the iPhone maker has created a special ‘hashflag’ custom icon on Twitter for the #AppleEvent hashtag.
Apple’s no stranger to hashflags. All of its recent announcements have had event-themed hashflags on Twitter, which show whenever a user tweets with the #AppleEvent hashtag.
The event will be streamed next Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT) from the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park, and will follow a similar format to Apple’s past digital events, which have seen new products announced in pre-recorded segments from different areas of the Cupertino campus.
