Apple to drop mask mandate in most US retail stores
Apple will once again be dropping its mask mandate in most of its US retail stores after reintroducing the requirement to wear a face mask at all times while in-store amid rising COVID-19 infections in December.
A new report from Bloomberg on Tuesday notes how Apple Store employees have been notified through an internal memo that the company will be relaxing its mask requirements in most retail stores across the country, however store employees will still be required to wear masks at all times and customers will be encouraged to continue to do so too.
Apple.com now shows which stores have dropped the mask mandate. Bloomberg reports that Apple is working to bring back its in-person Today at Apple sessions. In some locations, sessions will be available beginning later this week, while other stores will restart classes next month.
