2022 iPhone SE 3 again rumored to feature same iPhone 8-style design
Leaker @dylandkt has corroborated earlier rumors suggesting that Apple’s upcoming 2022 iPhone SE 3 will likely feature the same iPhone 8-style design as the current-generation model, with this year’s update set to introduce 5G support with updated internals.
In a tweet on Thursday, the leaker claims Apple is planning a more substantial iPhone SE upgrade in the years ahead, reportedly planning on releasing a future model with an all-screen design with an iPad Air-style side Touch ID button in the shell of an iPhone 11, but for this year at least the company will be less adventurous, seemingly focusing on internal improvements only.
Reports last year claimed the new iPhone will support 5G cellular and internal components from the iPhone 13, such as the A15 Bionic chip. It has previously been rumored that a new “iPhone SE Plus” is in development, which would offer customers the choice of two screen sizes.

Apple announced the current-generation iPhone SE in April 2020, featuring a 4.7-inch LCD display, Touch ID home button and A13 Bionic chip, priced from $399. We expect Apple to introduce the rumored iPhone SE 3 sometime before April as one of the first new products of the year to release.
