Eurasian regulatory filings list new Apple Watch and Mac models
The Eurasian Economic Commission has updated its certification database as spotted by French site Consomac on Monday, showing what is expected to be Apple’s redesigned M1X MacBook Pro and new Apple Watch Series 7.
The filings show two new “personal computers” with model identifiers A2442 and A2485 listed as running macOS 12, which Apple announced earlier this year at WWDC. – Here’s everything you need to know about macOS Monterey.
The database also shows several new “personal wearable electronic devices of the Apple brand,” expected to be the various new Apple Watch Series 7 models launching alongside the iPhone 13 in September, showing the entries with model numbers A2473, A2474, A2475, A2476, A2477, A2478.
Apple’s new 14-inch and 16-inch M1X MacBook Pros are expected be released some time between September and November, featuring a new “flat-edged” look with added I/O ports, a MagSafe charging port and mini-LED displays.
Rumors suggest the new Apple Watch Series 7 will also get a redesign with a flat-edged look similar to that on the iPhone 12 Pro, with reports claiming the wearable may also feature a faster processor, improved wireless connectivity and an updated screen.
