Find My app lets you find devices when they are powered off or factory reset with iOS 15
Apple has officially unveiled iOS 15, bringing several major enhancements to the iPhone including FaceTime upgrades, a new Focus feature, enhanced on-device intelligence, iMessage, Maps, Weather, and Wallet updates, and more.
iOS 15 adds a new feature to the Find My app, that allows users to find devices when they are powered off or even factory reset.
Details on how the new feature will work are vague, but presumably the device will ping its last location prior to either shutting down or being reset, giving the Find My network the data it needs to offer its last seen location.
