New Apple TV to feature ‘upgraded’ remote to work with Find My app
Apple’s next-generation Apple TV will launch alongside an upgraded remote that works with the Find My app on iPhone, iPad and Mac to allow users to easily locate their remote in the event that it is misplaced around the house, according to a new report from Bloomberg.
As part of a report detailing what to expect from Apple later this year, Bloomberg claim Apple is working on a new set top box that will likely arrive in 2021, featuring upgraded internals for an improved gaming experience, as suggested by code discovered at the beginning of the year which confirmed a new Apple TV was in development.
Bloomberg only touch upon the new Apple TV as part of a much larger report, so details are limited.
Previous rumors have suggested that the next-generation Apple TV will be powered by an A12 chip, up from the A10 found on the current box.
