Apple to announce redesigned iMac at WWDC, claims Sonny Dickson
Apple could unveil a redesigned iMac with slim bezels in just under two weeks at its World Wide Developers Conference on June 22nd, according to leaker Sonny Dickson.
The rumor claims the design of the new machine will follow the same language of that found on the iPad Pro, with Pro Display like bezels, a T2 chip and an AMD Navi GPU, without a fusion drive.
Dickson’s claims follow after a report touted earlier today that WWDC will see Apple announce the rumored transition from Intel to ARM chips for the Mac, although it is said the new ARM machines won’t launch until early 2021.
Reputable leaker Jon Prosser suggested last month Apple had a new iMac, as well as updated AirPods, ready to be released “at any time,” so it is possible that the new model rumored to be unveiled this month at WWDC is the same machine that Prosser had mentioned in May.
