Apple launches new ‘Shot on iPhone’ campaign in partnership with the NHL

Apple has formed a new partnership with the National Hockey League for its latest “Shot on iPhone” campaign, which sees billboards featuring pictures of players displayed at various hockey arenas across the United States and Canada with the familiar Shot on iPhone tagline.
As reported by Adweek, the billboards were installed at stadiums this week and feature eight NHL teams: Tampa Bay Lightning, Washington Capitals, St. Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers, Carolina Hurricanes, Arizona Coyotes, Ottawa Senators, and Philadelphia Flyers.
Apple is expected to continue to NHL campaign on social media as seen with other Shot on iPhone promotions.

The new campaign is also part of a long-term association Apple has with the NHL. Teams use iPads and the iPad Pro to view game footage in real time, as well as for coaches to receive up-to-date statistics to help improve their decisions during fixtures.
