M6 iMac can drive two 6K displays for a workspace with more than 50 million pixels

Apple’s new M6 iMac can connect to up to two external 6K displays, dramatically expanding the amount of screen space available from the 24-inch all-in-one.
Apple says the setup creates a combined workspace with more than 50 million pixels when the iMac is paired with two 6K monitors.
The new iMac can be configured with up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports, which support high-speed accessories including external storage, docks and displays.
The built-in 24-inch Retina display remains a 4.5K panel with 500 nits of brightness, P3 wide color and support for more than 1 billion colors.
External-display support is one of several connectivity upgrades in the new model, alongside Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and optional 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. Apple unveiled the M6 iMac today ahead of preorders opening October 28.
