Apple Stores will offer ADT installation for new smart home accessories

Apple has confirmed a new partnership with ADT that will let U.S. customers arrange professional installation for Apple Home Collection accessories through Apple Retail.
The service will be available for an additional charge and is designed for customers who want products such as cameras, locks and thermostats installed professionally rather than setting them up themselves.
Apple says third-party ADT installation will be available in the U.S. starting this fall.
Apple’s ADT connection is now official
The announcement confirms a relationship that had been the subject of recent speculation ahead of Apple’s “Welcome home” launch.
Apple Home Collection itself includes LG and Schneider Electric cameras, a video doorbell, a smart deadbolt lock, thermostats and temperature sensors, with availability beginning in December and select products following in early 2027.
The professional-install option adds another layer to Apple’s new Home Collection strategy, while customers who prefer to install accessories themselves can still add them directly to Apple Home from iPhone.
The Apple Post previously reported on signs of a possible Apple-ADT partnership before today’s announcement.
