Apple increases iCloud+ subscription prices in Japan, New Zealand, and other countries

Apple has increased the price of its iCloud+ storage plans in Japan, New Zealand, and a number of other countries, marking the latest round of price increases to affect the company’s products and services.

The latest changes follow recent hardware price increases across several Apple product lines, as well as subscription price hikes for Apple Music and Apple One in the United States and other markets.

In Japan, the 50GB iCloud+ plan now costs ¥180 per month, up from ¥150, while the 200GB plan has increased from ¥450 to ¥540 per month. The 2TB plan now costs ¥1,800 per month, up from ¥1,500, while the 6TB and 12TB plans have increased from ¥4,500 to ¥5,500 and from ¥9,000 to ¥11,000 per month, respectively.

In New Zealand, the 50GB plan has increased from NZ$1.69 to NZ$1.99 per month, while the 200GB plan now costs NZ$5.99, up from NZ$4.99. The 2TB plan has risen from NZ$16.99 to NZ$19.99 per month, with the 6TB and 12TB plans increasing from NZ$49.99 to NZ$59.99 and from NZ$99.99 to NZ$119.99 per month, respectively.

Apple has also adjusted iCloud+ pricing in a number of other countries, although the exact changes vary by region.
