Apple might announce new AirPods Max after all at ‘It’s Glowtime’ event

While it was initially reported that new AirPods Max were unlikely to debut at today’s ‘It’s Glowtime’ special event, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has now suggested otherwise. According to his latest update, Apple may reveal refreshed AirPods Max after all.
The next-generation AirPods Max are rumored to come with minor updates, including new color options and a shift from the Lightning port to USB-C.
The main highlight of the event is expected to be the iPhone 16 series, including both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models. These new phones are likely to have a similar design to the iPhone 15 lineup, but with key upgrades such as a new capacitive button for capturing photos and videos. The Pro models are rumored to feature larger displays, with the iPhone 16 Pro boasting a 6.3-inch screen and the Pro Max a 6.9-inch display.
Apple is also expected to introduce the Apple Watch Series 10, which could come with larger displays that rival the size of the Apple Watch Ultra, as well as a thinner case. This may be one of the most significant upgrades to the Apple Watch lineup in recent years.
Additionally, the event may see the launch of two new AirPods models at the entry level, both featuring noise cancellation for the first time.
