Apple launches HomePod mini in new Midnight color

Apple has today released the HomePod mini in a new Midnight color, which replaces the nearly-identical Space Gray color previously offered, adding to the lineup that already features yellow, orange, blue, and white versions of the speaker.
Apple launched the HomePod mini in 2020 and has been slowly expanding the availability of the speaker since by launching Siri compatibility in various new countries and regions around the world.
Apple added three new colors to the HomePod mini line up the following year but has since otherwise remained focused on providing software updates to the speaker and widening its supported languages.
Asides from the new color, the new HomePod mini offers the same features as the other models in the lineup.
HomePod mini in midnight is available to order for $99 (U.S.) from apple.com and the Apple Store app. The new color will be available at Apple Store locations in the U.S., Canada, China mainland, Singapore, and 28 other countries and regions starting July 17.
