Apple has announced that with iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia, Mac users will be able to control their iPhone wirelessly using their keyboard, trackpad, and mouse.
With iPhone Mirroring, users can drag and drop files, photos, videos, and more between iPhone and Mac as well as review and respond to iPhone notifications directly from their Mac.
macOS Sequoia enhances Continuity by enabling users to fully access and interact with their iPhone directly from their Mac. This feature mirrors the iPhone’s custom wallpaper and icons, allowing users to swipe through Home Screen pages and open any app as if they were on their iPhone.
The Mac’s keyboard, trackpad, and mouse provide seamless control, with audio also routed through the Mac. Users can drag and drop content between devices effortlessly, while the iPhone remains locked to ensure privacy. iPhone Mirroring integrates seamlessly with StandBy, keeping important information visible at a glance.
