Apple to pause Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 sales in US

Apple has revealed that it will be pausing sales of the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 from December 21 in order to comply with an ITC ruling as part of an ongoing patent infringement dispute with Masimo.
In a statement shared on Monday, Apple says that starting December 21, the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 will be unavailable to purchase from Apple.com ahead of an in-store ban beginning December 24.
The sales ban relates to a patent dispute from Masimo over blood oxygen sensing technology.
“Apple’s teams work tirelessly to create products and services that empower users with industry-leading health, wellness, and safety features. Apple strongly disagrees with the order and is pursuing a range of legal and technical options to ensure that Apple Watch is available to customers,” a statement from the iPhone maker reads.
