Apple to offer home delivery for in-person Apple Store purchases
Apple will soon offer a home delivery service to customers purchasing products in-person at an Apple Store location, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who says Apple’s in-store systems are being updated to include an option for delivery for the first time.
Gurman says rather than customers having to carry home their Apple Store purchase, Apple will now offer shoppers the option to finalize their purchase in-store, and choose to have their products shipped to them through Apple’s delivery network.
Currently, if a customer in-store wishes to have their purchase delivered, they must use Apple’s website in-store to arrange for their purchase to be shipped.
It is understood that the new home delivery option will be available from August.
