Apple rumored to open three new stores in India: here’s where they could be located

Apple is rumored to be considering opening three new retail stores in India through 2027, including a location at the high-end DLF Promenade Mall in New Delhi, which would mark the iPhone maker’s second store in the capital city.
According to a detailed report by Bloomberg, Apple is planning to open two new retail stores in Mumbai, India between 2025 and 2027, taking Mumbai’s total to three stores, where as New Delhi is expected to see one new store opened around March 2026, taking the city’s total up to two locations.
The report comes soon after Apple CEO Tim Cook recently said that India is a “major focus” for the company, adding that the country is “an incredibly exciting market” for Apple following the grand opening of the first two Apple Stores in the country in April, setting quarterly records sales as the company announced revenue of $94.8 billion.
Apple stepped up its retail efforts in India in 2020, expanding the official online Apple Store to bring its full range of products and support directly to customers across the country for the first time.
The iPhone maker’s second store, Apple Saket, is located in New Delhi.
